The potential of the agricultural sector as a source of livelihood for young people is without a doubt. However, young people are increasingly not taking up agriculture. Six challenges were identified by the FAO and its partners on matters affecting youth engagement in agriculture. Limited involvement in policy dialogue is highlighted as the 6th challenge. As young people in various levels of academia in Wageningen who have deliberately chosen to further their education in the agricultural sciences.

How then can we leverage this conscious decision for agricultural development towards a viable socioeconomic transformation? Do you want to give your voice in fostering dialogue and learning?
